I received this cookbook for my birthday. It's a giant, cute and beautiful cookbook written by Stephane Reynaud, owner and chef of Restaurant Villa 9 trois just outside of Paris, France. Marie-Pierre Morel was the photographer and she beautifully documented everything about the lives of butchers. Accompanied by the words of Stephane Reynaud where he remembered his first pig killing with his grandfather. And really awesome pig illustrations by Jose Reis de Matos really made this cookbook more than a cookbook. It's a great journey of celebrating tradition, farm-to-table and nose to tail eating. I'm excited to dive into this cookbook but some of the recipes are REALLY hardcore.

David Loftus
I can tell you that if I could trade places with someone in the whole wide world it would be David Loftus. I think he has one of the best job in the world being the personal photographer for Jamie Oliver (yes I"m a HUGE fan of Jamie Oliver). Even before I was interested in photography I was already a fan of David Loftus because of all the Jamie Oliver cookbook I had bought. Yes as of now I'm only missing 2 of his books, heehee. I have always found his photos to be so inviting and simple. Anyways go to a bookstore and find Jamie Oliver's cookbooks and see the photos for yourself.
An Introduction
Hi! If you don't know me my name is Donny. My photography blog is Ultrateg.com, my portfolio is DonnyTsang.com and my food blog is Eattoblog.com. Phew lots of links eh? Currently I'm a freelance photographer mostly shooting weddings and anything food related.
Some people might wonder why I am starting a new blog. Since I have a food blog I read lots of other food blogs. And oh man do some of the food blogs have great food photos. Wouldn't it be easy to see all of them in 1 place? With the abundant of wedding blogs and design blogs I thought finding a food photography blog would be easy but sadly that was not true. I had told my sister, Bonnie, my sad search for a food photo blog and her respond was "why don't you start your own?"
So here I am and here you are. I'm going to try my best to scour all over to find what I think are inspiring food photos and hope that you like them too.
