It's been a while since I took photos at a wedding, actually I haven't been to a wedding in a long time. I stopped taking wedding photos because I'm afraid I will mess up everything. It's somebody's special day and it's impossible to do it again. But Andy's a friend and I was honored when he asked me to shoot his wedding. It was a super fun weekend and the wedding was awesome. It rained the entire Saturday but it wasn't too bad and was able to get some photos outside.

Jane's Sweet Buns

Last week I did a behind-the-scenes shoot at Jane's Sweet Buns for Serious Eats NY (you can check it out here) and it was one of the funnest shoot. It's always weird taking photos of someone you just met but I try to pretend that I've known them for awhile and we're just catching up. Jane Danger, owner, was super chill and fun to talk to.

The Brooklyn Local

Wow I was pretty impressed with The Brooklyn Local event by City Harvest. The event was to raise money for City Harvest (City Harvest works with greenmarkets and restaurants to take their food that usually would go to waste and gives them to the needy).

I was impressed by how organized the event was and it never felt too crowded even with the 75 local food vendors. Looking forward to next year.

New Amsterdam Market Ice Cream Sunday

This past Sunday was the 2nd Annual New Amsterdam Market Ice Cream Sunday. Besides getting to see some friends (La Newyorkina and Steve's Ice Cream), I was finally able to try The Bent Spoon. I have heard so much GREAT things about them and their ice cream did not disappoint (planning a trip to Princeton soon). Actually every tiny scoop of ice cream I had from all the vendors were great.
