What's your favorite thing to photograph? You might think it's food for me but it's actually CLOUDS! I love clouds. Fluffy ones, anime looking ones, dark stormy ones. No one cloud looks like another cloud and once you miss it....that's it.

My friends Anh and Alex are getting married in August. I'm honored to be their photographer. I did their engagement photos this past Saturday that took us from Gowanus to DUMBO to Cobble Hill to Carroll Gardens to the pier at Red Hook. It was a tiring 4 hours of photographing, walking, and eating sort of trip around Brooklyn.
Here are some random snaps I took in April and May. A nice break from all the food photos eh? Everyone should really take a moment and just take in all the great scenes and architecture NYC has to offer. Try not to walk too fast or you'll miss some things like the beautiful reflected lights on the library or the intense shadows during sunset or a group of women dancing at night.

No matter if you hate NYC or love NYC, you have to admit the skyline is pretty incredible. If you can, hop into a car, after sun down, turn on some jazz and drive down the FDR. This happened to me few years ago and it was one of those "wow I'm in NYC" moment. Something about the beat of jazz music, the lights and the buildings zooming by really got me inspired.
